My Son is a Man

Well my son, I never thought that this would be my first entry for my love letters to you. I have so much more in my heart as I reflect back on your life that I will share at another time. Today is December 24, 2007, Christmas Eve. As we await the evening celebration of the birth of our Lord, you are sitting in a hospital room awaiting the news regarding the loss of Monica's first pregnancy. Our hearts are heavy during this time, with much thought as to why these things happen and why now? But we must concentrate and pray that Monica is physically and spiritually well. My prayer for you my son, is that you are taking a strong role as her husband by supporting, encouraging and loving her with all your heart. Making her feel secure and letting her know that our Lord is there to wrap His arms around you. I am very proud of you John. You have taken the role of a husband very seriously and as you grow closer to your wife, I pray you will both grow closer to the Lord. Love Mom
